Join the NC Wine Gals on weekly Charlotte wine tours to North Carolina’s premier wine-growing region, the Yadkin Valley. It’s an exciting time to be drinking Carolina wine.

Each tour features wine ranging from Chardonnay and Montepulciano to Vermentino and Cabernet Sauvignon. In addition to wine, we bring a charcuterie board and snacks . Expect to learn a lot about wine, pairing food and wine, and the amazing history of NC wine.

Meeting Location - 11 am

After introductions, you will be whisked away to NCs best wine growing region. Private tours will enjoy a fun pastry & wine pairing in their keepsake glasses..

60-75 Minute Drive

The best vineyards are 60+ minutes from Charlotte and someone can be the DJ and rock our the ride. The wine van also has plenty of water and snacks for you to enjoy throughout the day.

Vineyard #1

Your first vineyard will introduce you a delicions North Carolina grown wine. This wine is typically dry and is paired with charcuterie (meat & cheese box) from a local Charlotte company. You will spend about an hour here and are welcome to enjoy more wine or participate in a tasting.

Vineyard #2

A new vineyard means new wines to try. At this stop you can enjoy the views and a glass of wine. We will also have snacks available.

Vineyard #3

The final vineyard is typically where you will get a full wine tasting. This tasting typically consists of 6 – 10 wines (depending on the vineyard) and will offer you a wide variety of different kinds of NC wine. You will have 60 minutes and if you like a wine, please buy a bottle to share with those that could not come on the tour.

Vineyard Departure - 3:45 - 4 pm

Your tour departs at 4 pm and will take about 60-70 minutes to get you back to the meeting location.

Instead of glasses of wine, your group will enjoy your choice of wine bottles (1 bottle per 3 people) at the first 2 vineyards and a tasting at the 3rd.
